Manuscript Export

The Export tab is intended to allow you to export your document in various formats to submit to publishers or import into your favourite word processor. We currently support two formats: the Microsoft Word .docx format, which most word processing software is able to load, and Adobe's .pdf format, readable by any PDF viewer.

Simply click the Export to DOCX button or the Export to PDF button to download the exported manuscript.

You can also export all of your data as a JSON file, a programmer friendly format. Access it at the bottom of the Settings & Profile page.

You can use this as a backup mechanism, especially if you are on our free tier. We may also ask you to export this data for us if your book is experiencing syncing issues.
